Advanced Logic Research Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of computer systems said net income for the fiscal first quarter ended Dec. 31 surged to $2.4 million, or 20 cents a share, from $649,000, or 6 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 25% to $57.1 million from $45.7 million.
