SUPER BOWL XXX / Cowboys 27, Steelers 17 : Spotlight : KNEE? WHAT KNEE?
Steeler cornerback Rod Woodson, who completed his amazing journey from seriously injuring his knee in the first game of the year to playing in the Super Bowl, worked primarily on third downs.
At one point in the game, Woodson was one-on-one against wide receiver Michael Irvin and knocked down a pass intended for Irvin. A happy Woodson then appeared to taunt Irvin by pointing at the knee.
“The knee feels great,” Woodson said. “I honestly wanted to play more.”
