Seagram Gets New Investor Relations VP

MCA Inc. parent Seagram Co. named former Capital Cities/ABC executive Joseph M. Fitzgerald as vice president of investor relations.

Fitzgerald, previously vice president of investor relations at Cap Cities, will report to Seagram Vice Chairman Robert W. Matschullat.

Separately, Seagram moved Maureen Hannan, former senior director of corporate planning, to its investor relations team. Michael Hallows, who had overseen investor relations, will now work full time on his corporate secretarial duties.

* Brooks Barton was named vice president of East Coast public relations for Turner Entertainment Group.

* Creative Artists Agency named Andrea Marozas to oversee the agency’s corporate communications.

* Juli Goodwin was named director of West Coast publicity and promotions for Fine Line Features. Sarah Eaton was named executive director of publicity and promotions, Vincent Nebrida was promoted to senior manager of marketing and special projects, Susan Kaplan was promoted to manager of publicity and Jackie Robbins was promoted to manager of field operations.

* Gwen Osborne was named director of development for the Bubble Factory, the production company recently formed by former MCA President Sidney Sheinberg and his sons.

* Largo Entertainment named Sabryna Gamboni to the new position of marketing manager.

* L. Reed Manville has been appointed vice president of business development at Falcon International Communications. Lori Spagna has been named corporate director of new products for Falcon Cable TV.

* David Lavin has been promoted to executive director of business affairs for Viacom Productions.
