Darwin D. Beckel, 50, has been named a corporate vice president of Litton Industries Inc., the Woodland Hills-based defense contractor.

Beckel remains president of Litton’s Guidance & Control Systems division, which is a developer of navigation and guidance equipment for military aircraft and missiles.

Beckel joined Litton in 1968.

* Tod Cooper has been promoted to director of music production for Walt Disney Feature Animation.

Cooper will supervise music production for Walt Disney’s feature animation projects, plus he will be the principal liaison for other Disney feature animation music ventures.

Cooper joined Walt Disney in 1993, and served as the manager of music production for Disney’s animated films “The Lion King” and “Pocahontas.”

* Jon Gilbert was named executive vice president of Warner Bros. Studio Facilities in Burbank. Previously, Gilbert was senior vice president of the unit.

* Larry J. Sneathern has joined ARCS Commercial Mortgage, a large commercial mortgage banking firm based in Calabasas.

Sneathern was formerly with another commercial banking firm, Eichler, Fayne & Associates in Dallas. He will work from ARCS’ new Dallas office as vice president of operations for the Southwest region.

* Rosa Mow has been promoted to the new position of president and chief operating officer of Bugle Boy Industries, a Simi Valley clothing manufacturer. She will continue to oversee production, human resources and administration.

* Michael Seyhun has joined Bugle Boy as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He previously was chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Cherokee Inc. Seyhun replaces Roger A. Murray in the job.

* Jeff Hendrych has been named art director of Kinko’s DataProse, a unit of Ventura-based Kinko’s Inc. that specializes in direct-mail fund-raising. He formerly owned Identity West, a graphic design agency.

* Courtney Closter has joined the Promenade mall in Woodland Hills as director of retail operations. Closter formerly managed a regional shopping mall and strip center in Richmond, Va.
