2 Injured in Fire at Oak View House
Two people were injured, one suffering severe burns, in a fire that began in the living room of an Oak View house Wednesday evening, authorities said.
The victims, whose names were not released, were taken to Ventura County Medical Center, Ventura County Fire Department officials said. Hospital officials declined to comment on the victims’ conditions.
The Fire Department was called to the house at 667 Spring St. at 7:49 p.m. and the fire was under control three minutes later, authorities said.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were immediately unknown. An investigation was continuing.
