Volunteers : Helping hands : Applicants Sought for Library Panel
Letters of interest from residents who wish to serve on the Library Services Committee are being accepted by the City Council.
The new committee will prepare a report for the City Council on the current library system and will suggest possibilities for providing better service to patrons.
The panel will have nine members, including one representative each from the business community, the senior citizens community, the school district, Orange Coast College, Southern California College, school parent-teacher groups and the Friends of the Library.
Representatives from the Orange County Public Library System will serve as ex-officio members.
