Volunteers : Helping hands : Key Club Collecting Items for Children
The City Council has commended the Key Club at Villa Park High School for a project to help abused and abandoned children.
Key Club members are conducting a citywide, house-to-house campaign to collect toys, children’s clothing and check or cash donations.
A representative of the high school club said the donated items and money will go to Casita de San Jose, a nonprofit group that helps children who have been mistreated or left homeless.
