Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group named advertising executive Kristy Frudenfeld vice president of media.

She most recently was senior vice president of entertainment at Western International Media.

* The entertainment law firm of Bloom, Dekom, Hergott & Cook has changed its name to Bloom, Hergott, Cook, Diemer & Klein, reflecting the departure of partner Peter Dekom and the addition of John Diemer and Deborah Klein as name partners.

* Thomas A. Heymann was promoted to president of Disney Store’s worldwide operations. He replaces Richard D. Nanula, who was recently named chief financial officer of parent Walt Disney Co.

* Mark A. Flagel, former head of the high-technology, multimedia and intellectual-property practice at Irell & Manella, is joining Latham & Watkins as head of the firm’s intellectual-property practice in Los Angeles.
