COUNTYWIDE : Democrats to Convene Caucuses Sunday
Local supporters of President Clinton will convene Sunday at caucuses to choose delegates to the 1996 Democratic National Convention from the 39th, 45th, 47th and 48th congressional districts.
Delegates pledged to President Clinton’s reelection will attend the convention in Chicago in August.
Registered Democrats living in the respective congressional districts are eligible to vote in the caucuses. Doors open at 2 p.m. and registration for the caucuses closes at 3 p.m.
Caucus locations, by district, are:
* 39th District, UFCW District Council Office, 8530 Stanton Ave., Buena Park.
* 45th District, Murdy Community Center, Hall A, 7000 Norma Drive, Huntington Beach.
* 46th District, CWA Local 9510, 3602 W. 5th St., Santa Ana.
* 47th District, Lakeview Senior Center Dining Room, 20 Lake Road, Irvine.
* 48th District, El Adobe de Capistrano Restaurant, 31891 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano.
