AmeriQuest Technologies Inc.: The Santa Ana computer products distributor posted a fiscal-first-quarter loss of $8.3 million, or 32 cents a share, which include a one-time charge of $3.7 million related to subletting a property. The company lost $5.1 million, or 25 cents a share, in the first quarter a year ago. Revenue in the fiscal period ended Dec. 31 dropped 18%, to $101.5 million from $123.5 million. The company attributed the decline primarily to discontinuing unprofitable businesses and to problems associated with consolidating various organizations.
