North Korean commandos killed an armed man who was seeking refuge at a Russian trade mission in Pyongyang, according to news reports. The intruder, who had killed three North Korean guards while forcing his way into the mission, had threatened to shoot himself unless he was granted asylum, Russia’s Itar-Tass news agency reported. The man was identified by Itar-Tass as a 25-year-old North Korean sergeant in the state security guard.
