Share

High school seniors and juniors interested in exploring Europe this summer can apply to attend a 15-day educational tour arranged through Conejo Valley Adult School.

Highlights of the trip will include hiking in the Swiss Alps, viewing the Mona Lisa and other great works of art at the Louvre in Paris and investigating the catacombs in Rome.

“It’s an educational tour,” said Twila Cook, publicity coordinator for the adult school. “But it’s supposed to be fun, too.”

Brad Benioff, director of student activities at Agoura High School, and Scott Van Wig, a history teacher at Los Cerritos Middle School in Thousand Oaks, are scheduled to accompany the students to Europe.

The cost of the trip, $1,785 per student, includes round-trip air fare, hotel accommodations, daily breakfasts and dinners, sightseeing tours with licensed local guides, and transportation for all scheduled events.

EF Educational Tours, a company that specializes in arranging educational travel packages, is helping to arrange the trip.

All Ventura County high school juniors and seniors are invited to apply by calling Benioff at (818) 735-0237.
