USC Finds Range in Blowout

Jody Anton had 17 points and eight assists in leading four players in double figures as USC routed Arizona State, 98-56, Thursday night in a Pacific-10 Conference game at Tempe.

Erica Mashia and Jenny Circle also scored 17 points each and Tina Thompson added 10 for the Trojans (11-10 overall and 6-6 in the conference), who had a school-record 11 three-point baskets in their sixth consecutive victory over the Sun Devils (5-15, 1-10).

Molly Tuter had 15 points to lead Arizona State, which has lost 21 of its last 22 conference games.

Arizona 95, UCLA 66--Adia Barnes scored 29 points to lead the Wildcats (15-5, 6-5) past the Bruins (10-11, 5-7) at Tucson.

Arizona jumped out to a 15-4 lead and was never seriously threatened afterward.

Zrinka Kristich and Ricarda Kuypers had 11 points apiece to lead UCLA.
