Share

The Sherman Oaks Homeowners Assn. will meet Wednesday to discuss Los Angeles’ ongoing activities to improve its parks.

According to association president Richard Close, Steven Soboroff, president of the city Recreation and Parks Commission and vice chairman of Football L.A., will provide an update on those activities and discuss efforts to attract a National Football League franchise to Los Angeles.

“In a congested city like Los Angeles, adequate neighborhood parks are critical,” Close said. “Area residents want to know what is being done to improve the local parks and make them more accessible to residents of all ages. We also want to learn about efforts to bring back an NFL football team to Los Angeles.”
