Birmingham High

Due to overcrowding caused by the addition of ninth-grade classes, four Valley high schools will begin a year-round schedule in July. In contrast, Birmingham High School is able to maintain its traditional schedule.

Birmingham has an open enrollment policy. We offer international baccalaureate, advanced placement classes and the only journalism/technology magnet in the district. We are developing a tech-prep program involving graphic arts and automobile repair, with internships for graduates. We invite youngsters and their parents to visit the campus. Tours are held every other Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
