College Admissions Process Is Event Topic

Three experts on college admissions will discuss the application process at a fair April 1 and 2 sponsored by the Placentia-Yorba Linda Educational Foundation.
The speakers will be from the admissions staffs of the UC, Cal State and private university systems. Topics will include college preparatory classes, entrance requirements and test deadlines.
Though the session is mainly for high school sophomores and juniors, parents and younger students may also attend, a foundation spokesperson said.
Tickets are $6 each. Reservations are recommended because enrollment is limited and the annual event is usually sold out.
