Investigators have arrested the second of two suspects wanted in connection with a gang shooting last week, Port Hueneme police said Friday.

The 16-year-old alleged gang member from Oxnard is suspected of shooting Ruben Ramirez, 17, twice in the leg during a disturbance along the 1600 block of 7th Street in Port Hueneme on Feb. 15, police said.

Inspectors arrested the first suspect, also a juvenile, just hours after the shooting.

The two boys are accused of firing four or five shots at Ramirez and another boy in the frontyard of a 7th Street home after the four boys exchanged gang signals, according to police.
