Obituaries : Michael David Eilert; Dancer and Model for Armani

Michael David Eilert, 36, professional dancer and model who worked for Armani in Italy. A native of San Diego, Eilert began his dancing career in Las Vegas productions and later appeared throughout the United States and Europe in such shows as “A Chorus Line,” “New York New York” and “Razzle Dazzle.” He performed in such films as “Grease” and its sequel, “One from the Heart,” and “Can’t Stop the Music.” In addition to modeling for Armani, he posed for Cosmopolitan magazine and the Nieman Marcus stores. An avid athlete, Eilert worked for many years as an award-winning horse trainer and riding instructor at Del Mar. On Feb. 14 in San Diego of the complications of AIDS.
