Featuring its young hero, Speed, and his Special Formula Mach Five race car, Speed Racer roars into action on the Cartoon Network (Monday at 2:30 p.m.). The popular half-hour Japanese series joins the station’s weekday lineup. The show combines racing with intrigue in the form of spies, dishonest racers and other villains. For ages 6 and up.

On ABC’s Second Noah (Monday at 8 p.m.), Ricky and Roxanna try to get Luis out of hot water when he claims Julio Iglesias is his father and will be at the school concert. Meanwhile, Darby has returned to town, complicating Roxanna’s growing attraction to Ricky, and Hannah finds herself the target of classroom jokes when she becomes enamored with an overweight boy who has written a beautiful story about her. For ages 6 and up.

The Learning Channel premieres Neat Stuff (Thursdays at 7 p.m.), a hip 13-part series about collecting nostalgic mementos such as Barbie dolls, joy buzzers and old comic books. Host Jim Leinfelder and correspondent Susan Olsen (best known to television audiences as Cindy on “The Brady Bunch”) scour the nation in search of pieces of pop Americana. This week, Leinfelder goes to the Barbie Hall of Fame in Palo Alto. In Queens, N.Y., he meets a fanatic pinball couple whose home is furnished with more than 60 pinball machines. Finally, he watches joy buzzers, whoopee cushions and other novelty items roll off the assembly line at the S.S. Adams Factory in Neptune, N.J. For all the family.

For teens looking for a bit of adventure, the Disney Channel offers White Wolves (Thursday at 8 p.m.), about a group of young people known as the White Wolves. Members of the group come face to face with the dangerous side of nature during a two-week trek deep in the Cascade wilderness. For teenagers.
