Vehicular Technologies Sues Firm

COSTA MESA — Vehicular Technologies Corp. is suing an Illinois company over a patent for an auto wheel-differential system.
Vehicular Technologies contends in the suit that Titan Wheel International Inc. copied a patented vehicular differential that gives two-wheel drive autos the same traction as four-wheel drives. The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, names as defendants Titan Wheel of Quincy, Ill., one of its units and two of its distributors. The suit didn’t seek a particular amount in damages.
Titan officials couldn’t be reached for immediate comment.
