$1,000 Reward in Vandalized Vehicles

Police are offering up to $1,000 for information identifying the vandal or vandals who slashed tires on 26 vehicles in Thousand Oaks last month.
Authorities said intruders caused about $15,000 in damage when they vandalized cars, trucks and gas pumps belonging to the Conejo Valley School District at a maintenance yard at 310 E. Kelly Road.
The vandalism occurred between 5 p.m. Feb. 24 and 8 a.m. the next day, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to call Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 494-8255. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if their information leads to an arrest or a criminal complaint filed.
