Nation IN BRIEF : Court Tries to Settle Playground Fight
- Share via
Three-year-old Jonathan had better not make little Stacy cry anymore. Drawing a line in the sandbox, a judge has issued a court order to make the little boy play nice. Stacy’s mother, Antonina Pevnev, filed for a restraining order, claiming Jonathan has hit and kicked her daughter while the 3-year-olds were playing in Boston’s Charles River Park. Pevnev asked that Jonathan and his mother, Margareth Inge, not be allowed in the playground while her daughter was there. Superior Court Judge Charles Spurlock decided that the mothers must keep the children supervised and separated while at the playground. Violators can be held in contempt, fined or jailed.
