DANCING PRINCESS

No, now that she’s getting divorced from Prince Charles, Princess Diana is not pursuing a career as a dance-pop diva. But her voice is heard on one of the hottest songs in the London clubs.

Producer Sam Connery constructed the track “I’m a Free Spirit (Dilemma)” using samples from Diana’s infamous BBC-TV interview last November, in which she frankly discussed her split with Charles and her strained relationship with Buckingham Palace.

Among Diana quotes heard are the lines “I am a free spirit, I’ll fight till the end,” “Yes I adored him, yes I was in love with him” and “There were three of us in this marriage so it was a bit crowded.” The track ends with the line, “She won’t go quietly.”
