Pakistani Activist Slain in Shootout With Troops

KARACHI, Pakistan —
Naeem Sherri, a leading activist with the ethnic Mohajir National Movement, was shot to death by Pakistani forces in Karachi today, police said.
Sherri, described by police as Karachi’s “most-wanted terrorist,” was killed during an attack on his hide-out.
