Warner Home Video has indefinitely postponed the British video launch of Oliver Stone’s “Natural Born Killers,” calling the release of the film about a psychopathic couple on a killing spree “inappropriate for the time being,” following the massacre of 16 schoolchildren in Scotland on Wednesday. The movie, which was attacked by U.S. politicians for its violent content, was scheduled to come out on video in Britain next Wednesday, despite a campaign by parliament members to prevent its release. . . . Also on hold is the grand opening of a Planet Hollywood eatery in Tel Aviv. The restaurant--part of a chain owned by celebrities including Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone--was scheduled to open on March 23, but that has been put off until sometime in April due to recent terrorist bombings in Israel. . . . Actor Tom Cruise is being hailed as a hero for calling paramedics to help a woman who was injured in a hit-and-run accident, and then paying her hospital expenses. A UCLA Medical Center spokesman confirmed that Cruise paid the medical bills for uninsured aspiring Brazilian actress Heloisa Vinhas, 22, who was struck by a car and suffered torn knee ligaments after she left her job at California Chicken Cafe in Santa Monica last week. Cruise had been dining at a nearby restaurant.
