Reader’s Digest Launches Thai Edition: The Thai edition of its flagship magazine is Reader’s Digest’s first new edition in Asia since it began publishing a Korean version in 1978. The San Sara Reader’s Digest expects to sell 100,000 copies a month initially. Reader’s Digest said. Reader’s Digest Assn., based in Pleasantville, N.Y., publishes editions in 48 countries in 19 languages. It claims to be the most widely read magazine in the world.
