Cannes Internships Open to Film Students
Wednesday is the deadline for U.S. students to apply for American Pavilion internships at the Cannes Film Festival, which runs from May 9-20 in Cannes, France.
Sponsored by Eastman Kodak, the popular internship program is open to college students enrolled in film programs or who have exhibited strong interest in film. Last year, 400 students applied for 35 available positions.
Interns work in such areas as the hospitality center for American filmmakers and movie executives, the VIP communications center, press room and reception desk.
Room and board is provided, as is the opportunity to attend various screenings and events at the Cannes festival.
Information and applications are available by calling (310) 837-4500, or via the American Pavilion web site at https://www.ampav.com.
