Export Web Site: Small-business owners seeking free information on exporting can use TradePort, an Internet site on the World Wide Web. More than 40,000 California manufacturers and service companies and hundreds of country and industry reports are on the site, as well as market research on exporting, listings of trade events and overseas buyer leads. An interactive tutorial with search tools aids the inexperienced computer user. TradePort is a joint project of L.A. Trade and Bay Trade, trade associations in Southern and Northern California, and the Commerce Department, which provided $600,000 in funding. Use https://tradeport.org to access.
