Arts in Park Series Will Begin Sunday
Ventura’s Arts in the Park series begins Sunday) with vendors displaying their homemade arts and crafts in Plaza Park downtown.
An average of 80 vendors are expected each week to sell pottery, woodwork, sculpture, jewelry and other wares. There are also a variety of food booths and a special crafts area for children. The weekly event will be held every Sunday through July 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the park bounded by Thompson Boulevard and Chestnut, Santa Clara and Fir streets.

Art Series--Ventura’s Arts in the Park series, which begins on Sunday, is a monthly event. During April, May and June, it will be held the first Sunday of the month. An item in Thursday’s paper incorrectly characterized how often the event will be held.
The crafts fair then moves to Ventura’s beachfront Promenade until Sept. 14.
