* 4 p.m.: “Relatively Speaking,” directed by Peter Sime. (U.S., 1995). Well-wishing friends throw a party for a north Dallas suburbanite returning from drug rehab, and the consequences are traumatic. With the short film “Lucky Peach,” directed by Miguel Arteta (U.S.).

* 6: “If Only I Were an Indian . . .,” directed by John Paskievich (Canada, 1994). Three Canadians head to Czechoslovakia, ostensibly to study Native American cultures. With the short film “Truth and Beauty,” directed by Pablo Berger (U.S.).

* 8: “Fools Die Fast,” directed by James Purcell (Canada, 1995). Two lonely Midwesterners attempt to free themselves from desolate lives in the 1950s. With the short film “Death Therapy,” directed by Trey Alsup (U.S.).

* 2:30 p.m.: “A Modern Affair” (also known as “247”), directed by Vern Oakley (U.S., 1996). A young, successful woman hears her biological clock ticking and enlists a sperm bank to fulfill her wish of parenthood.

* 5: “That Eye, the Sky,” directed by John Ruane (Australia, 1993). A mysterious stranger helps a family survive the father’s near-fatal accident.

* 7:30: “Cityscrapes,” directed by Michael Becker (U.S., 1995). Ten intertwined stories about 18 young Angelenos.

* 9:30: “Harvest Home,” directed by Carlos Siguion-Reyna (Philippines, 1995). A seemingly strong family gradually disintegrates.
