The Disney Channel will air The Ugly Dachshund (Sunday at 7 p.m.). This dachshund really isn’t one, though; he’s a Great Dane. For ages 8 and up.

Home & Family debuts on the Family Channel (Monday at 1 p.m.) with host Cristina Ferrare. The show offers positive spins on such family issues as health and nutrition, finance, raising children and building careers. The show, which airs weekdays 1-3 p.m., features viewer call-ins, faxes and a web page. For the whole family.

This week, the Disney Channel (beginning Thursday at 7:30 p.m.) picks up Ready or Not. In this award-winning series, best friends Amanda Zimm and Busy Ramone deal with family situations and school problems as they face adolescence. For age 12 and up.

In The Easter Chipmunk (USA, Friday at 7:30 a.m.), Alvin is convinced that the Easter Bunny is a fraud and he’s going to try to prove it. For ages 6 and up.

There are more than enough frustrations for the hapless Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Disney Channel, Friday at 5 p.m.). For the whole family.

Brothers of the Frontier airs on “Saturday Night at the Movies” (ABC at 9 p.m.). In an attempt to escape down a raging river from a vengeful land baron, three brothers (Joey, Matthew and Andrew Lawrence, siblings off the screen) are separated from their parents. The adventure unfolds as they try to find Mom and Dad. For the whole family.
