Micro General Posts $229,652 Loss for ’95

SANTA ANA — Micro General Corp., a manufacturer of automated equipment for shipping and mailing operations, reported a net loss of $229,652, or 12 cents a share, for 1995, compared with a net loss of $296,784, or 16 cents a share, for 1994. Revenue was down 17% to $4 million from $4.8 million.
The company spent $359,200 last year for research and development related to a postage meter project after having minimal research and development expenses the previous year.
The company reported a net loss of $322,232, or 17 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, compared with a net loss of $297,022, or 16 cents a share, for the comparable 1994 period. Revenue fell 58% to $456,075 from $1.1 million.
