On Assignment Completes Purchase of EnviroStaff

On Assignment Inc. completed its acquisition of EnviroStaff Inc., a Minneapolis-based concern that provides temporary workers to the environmental services industry in 12 states.

On Assignment, based in Calabasas, issued 171,585 shares of stock to buy the company, a deal value at about $6.2 million.

EnviroStaff had revenues last year of $10.6 million. On Assignment, which supplies temporary science workers to laboratories, posted revenues of $62 million in 1995.
