Reduced Costs to City Spur Cut in Trash Fees

Residential and business trash fees have been reduced as a result of a drop in the price the county charges cities to use its landfills.
Beginning April 1, the city decreased residents’ monthly trash pickup fee from $13.45 to $12.55. Businesses also saw a fee reduction from $113.08 per month to $108.
In March, the county reduced the fees cities must pay to use county landfills from $35 to $27 per ton. Fullerton is passing the savings on to residents and business owners.
