STOCKTON--A favorite green vegetable is the guest of honor at the Stockton Asparagus Festival April 26-28 in Oak Grove Regional Park. Asparagus is incorporated into various delicacies, from ice cream to salsa on Asparagus Alley. SAN LUIS OBISPO--The I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival is 11 a.m.-6 p.m. April 27-28 in the courtyard of the Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa (at Broad and Monterey streets) and adjacent streets.
