Obituaries : Harry Rising; 84, Longtime Bank Teller
Harry Rising, a Ventura County resident for 40 years, died Friday after a brief illness. He was 84.
Born in Bertha, Minn., Rising moved to Camarillo and worked for the Bank of A. Levy as a teller for 17 years.
In his retirement, he enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, said his son, Allan, of Camarillo. “He was very caring and giving,” Allan Rising said.
Besides his son, he is survived by two granddaughters and three grandsons.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Camarillo Hospice or the American Heart Assn.
