Travis Senik

El Toro, Senior

Baseball/First baseman

Senik, a steady contributor for the Chargers all season, went on a roll during the Dole Big West tournament. He had nine hits in 15 at bats--raising his average from .419 to .466--scored six runs and drove in five, helping the Chargers to four victories, including a 3-1 victory over Sea View League rival Irvine in the title game. “In each of the four games he did something that helped us a lot,” El Toro Coach Tom McCaffrey said. “He either scored runs or produced runs in each game.” Senik bunted for hits a couple of times, hit a home run and a triple and stole four bases as the Chargers improved to 13-4-1.
