GT Bicycles Inc.: The Santa Ana bicycle designer and manufacturer, which went public in 1995, reported that net income for the first quarter rose to $2.2 million, or 22 cents a share, from $480,000, or 7 cents a share, for the same quarter in 1995. Sales advanced 11% to $48.9 million from $43.9 million.
