A Message Behind ‘Who Said’
I really enjoyed Jan Herman’s review of “Who Said What Said Where Said” at the Gem Theater (“ ‘Who Said’ Falls Into Manic Improvisation,” April 15). But maybe Mr. Herman missed the point of the production.
It sounds as if artistic director Kevin Cochran and his sidekick, producer Charles Johanson, are feeling guilt pangs for their 1993 conspiracy to destroy GroveShakespeare and constructed a metaphorical confession to tell us about it!
I’m sure that theatergoers armed with this insight will find great enjoyment in their evening out, maybe even to the point of not missing a more serious or professional theater company such as GroveShakespeare.
