Cortex Pharmaceuticals Inc.: The Irvine developer of treatments for Alzheimer’s disease said it lost $1.1 million, or 18 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter ended March 31, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.2 million, or 20 cents a share. For the nine-month period, the company reported a net loss of $3.2 million, or 51 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $4.3 million, or 70 cents a share, for the corresponding prior-year period. No revenue was reported.
