Testifying at his assisted-suicide trial, Jack Kevorkian admitted providing the means for two of his patients to die in 1991. “Suicide is not the aim. Eliminating the suffering is the aim, but you pay a price with the loss of a life,” Kevorkian said. Kevorkian is on trial in Pontiac, Mich., for violating unwritten common law by helping Majorie Wantz and Sherry Miller take their own lives.
