Computer Firm Alpha Posts Loss of $3.6 Million

SANTA ANA — Alpha Microsystems, a computer products and services company, reported a net loss of $3.6 million, or 54 cents a share, for the fiscal year ended Feb. 25, which included a $2-million write-off. The company lost $6.2 million, or 95 cents a share, in the previous year. Revenue declined 15% to $32.8 million from $38.8 million.

The company plans to issue 4.4 million common shares when certain redeemable warrants are exercised, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Each traded warrant entitles the holder to buy one share of common stock for $2.50.
