A homeless man accused of firing shots into the air and engaging police in a two-hour standoff pleaded not guilty Thursday to felony charges.

Tommy Anderson Clark, 37, was charged with one count each of brandishing a firearm at an occupant of a vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was being held on $30,000 bail and a preliminary hearing was set May 21.

Clark is accused of pointing a gun at a Fox 11 television news crew in Hollywood on Tuesday morning, jumping on a city bus, exiting and then holding police at bay at Sunset Boulevard and Fountain Avenue before surrendering.
