Mighty Duck assistant coach Al Sims is scheduled to interview for the San Jose Sharks coaching job today.

Brian Sutter, former coach of the St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins, and former Calgary Coach Dave King are among the other candidates being considered by San Jose General Manager Dean Lombardi.

The Sharks also are believed to have an interest in former King Coach Robbie Ftorek, coach of the Albany River Rats in the American Hockey League. Jim Wiley, who filled the San Jose job on an interim basis after Kevin Constantine was fired this season, is also being considered.
