Three Suspects Arrested in Buena Park Stabbing Death

Police arrested three people in connection with the stabbing death of a reputed gang member found in a puddle of blood on a second-floor apartment balcony.

Luis R. Ronquillo, 30, was stabbed Friday about 4:30 a.m. during an argument with three men at the Viking Apartments in the 7300 block of 9th Street, police said.

The three people were arrested later in the day at a residence on Western Avenue in Buena Park on suspicion of murder. They are David J. Barajas, 29; Abraham M. Guajardo, 24; and Elie Marginean, 22. Barajas was also charged with parole violation, while the other two men were charged with probation violation. All were held without bail.

Also taken into custody at the residence was Marcelo Haro, 32, who was charged with violating probation but was not connected to the killing.

The killing is still under investigation but witnesses told police that Ronquillo was intoxicated when he got into a scuffle with three men. A resident called police after seeing the victim sprawled on the balcony.
