WOMEN’S AWARDS
The Women’s Business Council of the Century City Chamber of Commerce will honor its 1996 Women of Achievement Award recipients at a luncheon today.
The chamber selects women for the award among a slate of female professionals who work in Century City.
Among this year’s 10 winners are an accountant, the president of a travel company, a national marketing director, an entrepreneur, a banker and a vice president of corporate personnel.
The keynote speaker for the luncheon will be Anita Roddick, founder and president of the Body Shop International, PLC.
The mistress of ceremonies will be Florence Henderson, formerly of television’s “The Brady Bunch.”
