Praise for Planners of a Leisure World
* The May 5 article on homeowners associations (“A House Divided”) prompts me to write expressing appreciation for the farsightedness of those who set up Leisure World in Laguna Hills. As one of this country’s oldest and largest active retirement communities, its founders and successive boards of directors provide matchless maintenance and services. There are adequate contingency funds to cover almost anything that could arise and are available for proper updating of facilities.
Besides the property maintenance, our monthly fees include taking care of five swimming pools, several golf courses, stables, our own bus transportation and library. The other amenities are almost too numerous to mention. Here we can retire with great peace of mind.
