Huntington Gets Bum Rap
* Re The Times’ sensationalizing of a minor number of hate crimes in Huntington Beach (“Hate Is Boiling in O.C.’s Social Caldron,” May 1):
There are so many areas of Los Angeles you could cite for good reason, why pick on peaceful Huntington Beach?
There are so many areas of Los Angeles where it is not safe to walk the streets. Why pick on Huntington Beach, where it is safe for people of any color to walk the street? While I am on the subject, let me say that there are a lot of white people killed in L.A. by minorities and illegal aliens. Do you think they loved their white victims? You need to learn that it is not just white people who hate--at times for good reason.
