N.U. Pizza Acquires Simi Numero Uno Franchise

N.U. Pizza Holding Corp. has entered into an agreement to acquire the Numero Uno restaurant in Simi Valley from the franchisee.

The all-stock transaction is the third acquisition by the company of a franchised operation in the last two months. Together, these acquisitions are expected to add more than $1.5 million in revenues and about $200,000 in net income annually.

N.U. Pizza Holding franchises and operates the Numero Uno chain. The three acquisitions have substantially increased N.U. Pizza’s asset base and net worth, which should help the company achieve its goal of being listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

Company officials said they hope to acquire at least one more franchised unit during the current fiscal year.
