From Times Wire Reports

Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic met with the hard-line Bosnian Serb leadership in Belgrade to decide the fate of their “president,” Radovan Karadzic, and army commander, Ratko Mladic, both wanted by the United Nations as war criminals. Secret talks began under U.S. pressure for the surrender of the two men to the U.N. war crimes court in The Hague, Bosnian Serb sources were quoted as saying. No official announcement of the meeting was issued, but Karadzic and Mladic were reported to be in the Serbian and Yugoslav capital. Diplomats say the outcome of the talks could be crucial to international efforts to keep the implementation of the Bosnian peace agreement on track.
